Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now. Underneath that is a list of items of which we currently have plenty.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for some of our food collection point locations, a full list can be found here wad-collection-points, or larger donations can be dropped off at our warehouse directly, please contact us to arrange this.

Please note, the permanent collection point (PCP) in Tesco at York’s Clifton Moor is for in-store shoppers only. Tesco provides a generous top-up donation to the foodbank based on donations made by their customers of items purchased in their stores. If you wish to place items purchased in a different supermarket into Tesco’s PCP, these should be clearly wrapped and labelled. Thank you!

We do our best to avoid waste and to honour our donors by ensuring all donations reach people experiencing hardship and need.
