Today Homeless Street Angels co founder, Becky Joyce and volunteer, Helen, collected 245kg food.
In the past week we have delivered food to St Aidans Church foodbank (290kg) and the Franciscan Sisters (150kg). The food is donated by our usual supporters, notably shoppers at Tesco, Clifton Moor in York and Wetherby locals as well as Morrisons in our new exciting partnership
We thank Sykes House Farm for their continued support. They have generously allowed us the use of one of their vans for several years now and, during the coronavirus crisis, are allowing us unlimited access to one of their vans. This is crucial to our operations, allowing us to collect food from all of our generous donors and deliver to those that need our help.
