Harvest Festival Support: THANK YOU!

The autumn is a special time at our Foodbank. With Harvest Festivals taking place across local schools and churches, its a time of year when we really feel the support of our wider community.

This year is no exception and we have had an amazing response with Harvest Festival donations coming from schools, churches and groups across our wider district. So far, we have received over 1,250Kg of donated items from over twenty different organisations or groups. Our volunteers have been working extra shifts at our warehouse to date and sort all the food and other essentials and our shelves are now looking nicely stocked in time for the colder months ahead.

If your school, church, group or organisation has donated for Harvest, please accept our most heartfelt thanks! It is incredibly reassuring for our volunteers to know our warehouse is well-stocked and also rewarding for us all to see our foodbank so well-supported by our community.

THANK YOU!
