Do you want to get involved in your local and wider community? Might you be able to join our team of volunteers? We currently have four specific volunteer vacancies at our foodbank. These roles vary in the amount of time and commitment required, but every single volunteer role at the foodbank is important in ensuring that we can continue to be there for people who are struggling to put food on the table.
Current Volunteer Vacancies:
Chair of Trustees
Under the constitution of our Foodbank, our incumbent Chair has to step down from the role. We are therefore seeking to appoint a new Trustee to act as Chairperson for our Board of Trustees.
Trustee (HR and Volunteer Management)
We are seeking to appoint a Trustee to join the Board of Trustees with senior experience in HR/Volunteer management.
Distribution Centre (DC) Coordinator (Estimated average hours p/w: 6)
We are seeking a volunteer to take on the role of coordinating activities operating at the Foodbank’s Barleyfields Distribution Centre in Wetherby.
Safeguarding Officer (Estimated average hours p/w: 2)
We are seeking a volunteer with suitable experience to take on this important role; responsible for the implementation and operation of the Foodbank’s safeguarding policy.
