The results are finally in for our Primary School Poster Competition. Eight schools from across the district submitted entries and we are delighted to announce the winners and runners-up below!
Raising awareness is a major objective for our foodbank and is especially relevant when considering the wide area we cover which spans parts of West and North Yorkshire. Making sure that local people across the district know that we are here and are able to help is becoming increasingly important as the cost of living continues to put pressure on households. The Poster Competition has been a useful tool in this objective, helping to reach pupils as well as parents, guardians and carers.
We’ve received some amazing support from local businesses who have sponsored prizes: Thank you to St James’s Place Wealth Management who sponsored all the runner-up prizes and also Reading Roots Bookshop, Wetherby; Balloon Box, Collingham; Treasures Toy Shop, Wetherby; Kith & Kin, Wetherby; Doodlebug, Wetherby; Ace cards, Wetherby; Castlegate Stationers, Wetherby; and also Morrison’s in Wetherby – all of whom kindly donated vouchers.
